By Park Ji-hyuk = AS Roma’s July visit to Italy, led by Jose Mourinho, is in danger of being canceled.
AS Roma claimed that “the organizers did not give the promised advance payment” and the organizers countered that “AS Roma changed the contract”.
Italian media outlet Corriere dello Sport reported on July 24 (KST), “AS Roma’s plans to play a pre-season in South Korea at the end of July may change. The organizers of the trip have not paid the advance바카라.”
If the advance payment is not received within a few days, the team may cancel the trip.
AS Roma had planned to play one exhibition match against Son Heung-min’s club Tottenham (England) in Singapore on July 26, and then travel to South Korea to face Wolverhampton (England) on July 29 and Incheon United (South Korea) on August 1 in Incheon.
However, they are at odds with the organizers over the size of the advance.
An official from Untouchable Sports Group-Stadium X, the promoter of the schedule, explained, “We decided to pay AS Roma, Wolverhampton, and Celtic, who are visiting in July, an advance payment by mid-May and a midterm payment by the end of June, giving them 70% of the total amount.”
“However, in preparation for the Napoli (Italy)-Majorca (Spain) match scheduled earlier this month, the May payment was delayed, and while we had no problem paying 70% of the total amount by June, AS Roma suddenly demanded 100% by the 23rd,” he said.
If the confrontation continues, the club is open to excluding AS Roma.
“There is no problem with Wolverhampton and Celtic,” the official said, “AS Roma is planning an Asian tour to Singapore and South Korea. For Singapore, they have received an advance payment. If they cancel Korea and only go to Singapore, they will lose a lot of money.”
“We will continue to negotiate, but if they continue to be uncooperative, we will move forward with the schedule without AS Roma,” he added.
“It seems that the president of Napoli (Aurelio De Laurentiis), whose visit to Korea was canceled, has told his fellow Serie A club AS Roma that they may not get paid,” he added.
