Messi + Mbappe, everything comes out… PSG announces ‘full power’ against Munich in the round of 16

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) announced ‘full power’ ahead of Bayern Munich.

On the 13th (Korean time), PSG announced the call-up list ahead of the first leg of the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League Round of 16 against Bayern Munich.

PSG will start the Champions League tournament by welcoming Bundesliga champion Munich on the 15th at Parc des Princes.

In the Champions League group stage, PSG finished second in Group H after being pushed by Benfica on away goals, and from the round of 16 they faced Munich, who ranked first in Group C, one of the strongest candidates to win the tournament.

From the round of 16, with the candidates for the tournament competing against each other, PSG included both Kylian Mbappe (25) and Lionel Messi (38), who were suspected of leaving power due to injury, to the call list. 메이저사이트

PSG ace Mbappe was expected to miss about three weeks due to a hamstring injury on the 2nd, so it was unclear how to play in Munich. Messi also suffered a minor hamstring injury during the game on the 9th, causing PSG’s chest to collapse.

It has not been confirmed whether the injury will be cured, but as both players are included in the PSG call-up list, Munich needs to keep in mind the possibility of Messi and Mbappe’s joint sortie.

PSG and Munich have faced each other in a total of three Champions League tournaments recently.

When they faced each other in the quarterfinals of the Champions League in the 2020/21 season, the combined score of the first and second games was tied at 3-3, but PSG advanced to the semifinals ahead of the away goal. PSG, who advanced to the semi-finals, met Manchester City and lost 1-4 on aggregate, and the final was frustrated.

In the 2019/20 season, they had a guillotine match in the Champions League final. PSG tried to win the Champions League for the first time since the club was founded, but stayed in the runners-up after losing to Munich 0-1.
