KT Wiz infielder Lee Ho-yeon was forced to leave the game twice due to left thigh pain after colliding while fielding a ball.
Lee was batting second in the lineup against Lotte at Sajik Stadium in Busan on Sept. 26. Prior to that game, Lee was batting .258 (46-for-159) with three home runs, 15 RBIs, 22 runs scored and three stolen bases in 58 games.
In the bottom of the first inning, Lee collided with right fielder Kim Min-hyuk while trying to catch a fly ball hit by Lotte’s No. 4, Jeon Jun-woo. Lee fell to the ground and was unable to get up for a while. Eventually, the medical team rushed onto the field with a stretcher. Lee gestured that he was fine and continued to play.토토사이트
Lee was replaced by pinch-hitter Park Kyung-soo in the second at-bat of the second inning. The club said, “Lee Ho-yeon felt pain in his left thigh after colliding with Kim Min-hyuk while fielding in the first inning and was replaced for protection. He is currently undergoing icing treatment.”
