Gangwon FC appoints manager Do-geun Kim, who was born in Gangwon-do, as an honorary ambassador

Coach Kim Do-geun was born in Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do, and debuted in the K-League in 1995. He played 241 games for 12 years and scored 34 goals and 24 assists. After a stellar career as a player and coach, he returned to his hometown last year and took on his first coaching job as the head coach of the Gangneung Citizens’ Football Team. As he spent all of his school days except college in Gangneung, he has a deep relationship with Gangwon-do.
