The winner of the German Bundesliga was decided in the final minutes of the final game. Dortmund equalized six minutes into the second half of stoppage time when defender Schurrle scored on a volley to make it 2-2. The game ended 2-2 with no further goals. At the same time, Bayern Munich won 2-1 to claim the upset title.
